走进 COP27联合国气候变化大会|天合光能以供應鏈低碳實踐助力全球應對氣候變化

全球矚目的《聯合國氣候變化框架公約》第27次締約方會議(COP27)于11月6日-18日在埃及沙姆沙伊赫進行。作爲中國代表團在COP27期間的活動之一,COP27“中國角”綠電主題邊會于11月9日成功召開。


“中国角”绿电主题边会由中国环境科学研究院(简称“中国环科院”)、国家电网公司、大道应对气候变化促进中心主办,国际綠色經濟協會组织协办。边会以“减污降碳协同推进绿电发展,合作应对全球气候变化”为主题,旨在向国际社会展示中国电力能源行业履行承诺推进减污降碳协同工作,推进中国电力能源行业的代表企业在更大程度上参与全球应对气候变化的行动。


邊會由中國工業經濟聯合會碳達峰碳中和促進中心主任王曉光主持,中國環境科學研究院副院長許其功,中國工業經濟聯合會黨委書記、執行副會長兼秘書長熊夢爲邊會致辭,清華大學氣候研究院常務副院長李政發表“中國電力能源低碳轉型與聯合國可持續發展目標”主題演講。

天合光能股份有限公司産品BG戰略與Marketing助理副總裁曾義在線發言,分享了天合光能在供應鏈方面的低碳實踐。


曾義表示,天合光能作爲一家全球領先的光伏制造企業一直秉承著“讓光伏造福全人類”的企業願景,在過去的25年中,已經向全球累計出貨120GW,已經爲全世界減排1.35億噸,減少405萬噸的二氧化硫的排放,以及3,672萬噸的顆粒物排放。天合光能積極加入科學碳組織,將制定長期和短期的具體行動計劃,助力全球1.5度的降溫目標行動。


曾義詳細介紹了天河光能的青海低碳戰略,未來將以青海低碳戰略爲模板,複制成爲可推廣借鑒的、新的工業能源和社會共同發展的産業模式和社會模式,給中國西部開放注入新的活力。


邊會發布了多項成果,展現了中國推進減汙降碳協同以及電力能源行業爲應對全球氣候變化做出的積極努力與取得的成效,有效的推進中國電力能源行業的代表企業與國際社會的對話與交流,向國際社會強有力地展示了中國電力能源企業積極投身氣候問題的行動力,促使中國電力能源領軍企業在更大程度上參與全球應對氣候變化的行動。

尊敬的各位來賓,我是來自于天合光能的曾義,非常榮幸能夠在線上和大家分享天合在供應鏈方面的低碳實踐。

天合光能是一家全球領先的光伏制造企業。我們已經有25年的曆史。我們的業務板塊覆蓋了光伏産品制造,包括光伏組件,光伏的制造,以及儲能産品。(同時,我們也)有大型地面電站的解決方案和分布式電廠的解決方案。(我們還有)智慧能源,包括我們的智慧儲能系統和雲平台。(這)基本上覆蓋了未來光伏系統的所有領域。同時我們現在也在逐步的孵化,包括光伏制氫的一些新的板塊。


Distinguished guests, I am Zeng Yi from Trinasolar. It is a great honor to share with you Trinasolar's low-carbon practice in the supply chain online. 

Trina Solar is a global leader in photovoltaic manufacturing. We have a history of 25 years. Our business mainly covers the manufacturing of photovoltaic products, including PV modules, trackers, and batteries. At the same time, we invest in utility-scale and distributed solar power plants. We also have a smart energy unit, offering services like smart energy storage solution and cloud platform. Our business is wide-ranging and we keep an open mind about all opportunities in the sector of solar PV. For example, we are incubating new businesses such as hydrogen production using solar power.


天合光能成立于1997年,至今已經有25年的曆史了。我們一直都秉承著我們的企業的願景,讓光伏造福全人類。在過去的25年裏面,我們首先在技術研發方面,先後14次打破電池轉化效率的世界紀錄。在國內,我們擁有唯一一家國家級的國家重點實驗室。同時我們也是中國光伏企業裏面唯一一家獲得工業大獎的企業,(這個大獎)號稱工業界的奧斯卡。


Trina Solar was founded in 1997 and has a history of 25 years. We have been adhering to the vision of our company to make solar power benefit all mankind. In the past 25 years, we have set 25 world records in PV cell efficiency. We are also the first PV company to have a state key laboratory. Our products have won multiple awards, including the Red Dot Award, which is known as the "Oscar of the design world”.


在過去的25年裏面,我們已經向全球累計出貨120GW,爲全世界減排已經達到了1.35億噸。


Over the past 25 years, we have shipped 120 GW to the world, reducing carbon emissions by 135 million tons worldwide.


我們的營銷網絡服務網點覆蓋了150個國家。在過去的幾年裏面,我們的財務表現也非常優異。在今年我們預計我們的營業收入將達到900億,在全球銀行的授信與認證,我們的産品是100%的被全球的銀行所接受。在展示文稿裏,可以看到我們全球的銷售網絡和營銷基地。我們的總部在中國的江蘇常州,我們在歐洲、美國、非洲、拉美、南美、中東、亞太都有我們的服務網點和銷售中心。


We have a global presence covering over 150 countries. In the past few years, our financial performance has been nothing short of spectacular. We expect our revenue to reach 90 billion yuan this year. We have been rated as 100% bankable by Bloomberg surveys for many years. The slide shows our global sales network and manufacturing bases. Headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, we have outlets and sales centers in Europe, the United States, Africa, Latin America, South America, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.


除了在中國的制造基地以外,我們在泰國越南也有生産基地。我們在過去的25年裏面,我們在全球服務了各種應用場景的光伏電站。左下角的圖片是我們在法國做的漂浮電站,也包括我們的在拉美做的跟蹤支架和的電站,以及我們在青海荒漠做的沙漠電站。


In addition to China, we also have manufacturing bases in Thailand and Vietnam and have built solar PV stations around the world. The pictures here show our past projects, including the floating power station in France, the trackers and the power station in Latin America, and the desert power station in Qinghai,China.


天合光能,除了生産光伏組件以外,我們也一直致力于在環:蜏p碳方面的行動。我們迄今爲止,我們的産品在全球累計的這個發電量已經達到了1,350億度,幫助實現了減排1.35億噸,還有405萬噸的二氧化硫的排放,以及3,672萬噸的顆粒物排放。我們也加入了科學碳組織,助力全球1.5度的降溫的目標行動,也正在制定長期和短期的具體行動計劃。


Trinasolar has always prioritized environmental protection and carbon emission reduction. So far, the cumulative power generation of our shipped products has totalled 135 TWh, helping to achieve a carbon emission reduction of 135 million tons. Our products have also resulted in the reduction of sulfur dioxide and particulate matters, to the tune of 4.05 million tons and 36.72 million tons respectively. We have joined the SBTi initiative and are committed to limiting the global temperature below 1.5 degrees. We are currently in the process of setting the long-term and short-term carbon reduction targets.


衆所周知,減碳有四大支柱,一個是電氣化,第二個方面節能減排,第三個是低碳的綠色電力,第四個是負碳的措施。從光伏電力來講,它是解決我們綠色電力的一個重要途徑。那麽我們預計在2060年光伏發電將有可能占到整個人類能源構成的40%左右。


As we all know, there are four pillars of decarbonization, namely electrification, energy conservation, low carbon electricity, and negative emission technologies. Solar power is an important source of low-carbon  electricity. We expect that solar power to account for about 40% of the total human energy supply in 2060. 


在過去的的10年裏面,我們也可以看到光伏成本得到了快速的下降,應用場景得到了極大的拓寬。在過去的十年,大家也看到全球的裝機規模幾乎是擴大了10倍。在未來,光伏裝機還有更加迅速的一個增長。我們預計到2035年,年均裝機的增量就可以達到1GW以上。


Over the past 10 years, we have witnessed a drastic decrease of the cost and the rapid increase of deployment of the solar PV. The global installed capacity of solar PV has expanded almost 10 times over 10 years. In the future, the installation will accelerate. We expect that by 2035, the average annual increment of installed capacity will reach 1GW.


但是在光伏制造过程当中,其实并没有实现真正的carbon free,就是说并没有实现真正意义上来的零碳。那么也就是说,光伏电实际上还是有碳成本的。从现在来看,按照全生命周期计算,大概每一度电仍然有产生41克到48克的碳排放。这41克是怎么产生的呢? 主要是来自与光伏制造,建设和运输过程当中也会有少量的碳排放。


However, PV manufacturing is not carbon free. That is to say, solar power still leaves a carbon footprint. It is found that the life cycle carbon emission per kilowatt hour of solar power is about 41 grams to 48 grams. How does this carbon emission come into being? Most of the emission can be attributed to the manufacturing process, while a small fraction occurs in the process of construction and transportation.


針對于占比75%的、産生于制造環節的碳排放,天合在打造供應鏈方面,提出了青海戰略。我們在青海要做整個光伏産業鏈的投資,從工業矽、矽料、矽片、到電池組件。


In view of 75% of the carbon emissions during the manufacturing process, Trinasolar has put forward the Qinghai strategy. It is to invest in Qinghai the whole value chain of the solar PV industry, covering silicon metal, polysilicon, silicon wafers to cells and modules. 


在制造過程中,實際上95%的排放是來自于對電的消耗。青海有得天獨厚的優勢。青海是在中國綠電比例最高的一個省份,達到了86%以上,相較于全國平均水平是一個很大的提升。所以選址青海對我們減碳非常重要,選址青海就意味著制造能耗的綠電比例達到86%以上。


We have analysed our manufacturing process and found that 95% of the emissions come from electricity consumption. Qinghai has unique advantages to address this. Qinghai is the province with the highest proportion of green electricity in China, reaching about 85%. This is a significant improvement compared with the national average. Therefore, selecting Qinghai as the manufacturing base is vital to carbon reduction. It means that 85% of the electricity used in manufacturing is low-carbon.


當然青海有優質光伏的資源。一方面,青海的平均日照在全國應該是條件最好的。一個普通的地面光伏電站的發電小時數就可以達到1800小時。同時,青海又是一個沙漠化非常嚴重的省份。90%以上的土地面積基本上就是無法直接利用。我們通過建設大量的光伏電站,改變了局部的氣候。右邊這張圖大家可以看到,我們聯合國電投黃河在青海的共和,建了6GW的光伏電站。這減少了當地的水氣的蒸發,原來的荒漠變成了現在草原,當地的牧民可以在電站的光伏板下面牧羊。這樣一種能源和生態修複非常完美結合的實踐非常值得推廣。在我們的青海戰略裏,除了在選址方面選擇了青海這樣一個高綠電比例的省份以外,我們自己還投資建設了14個GW的光伏電站,每年將産生124億度電,基本上可以抵消所有範圍二排放。


The abundance of solar radiation also provides optimal condition for solar electricity generation. Qinghai has the longest sun hours in China. An average PV power station in Qinghai can generate electricity for as long as 1800 hours. At the same time, Qinghai is also a province at the risk of desertification, with more than 90% of the land facing extreme climate. By building solar PV plants on the vast dryland, we are able to produce massive amount of electricity as well as solving the problem of desertification. As you can see from the picture, we have built PV stations in Gonghe, Qinghai, in partnership with Huanghe group. The placement of solar panels alleviates evapotranspiration and wind erosion of the soil, turning the dryland to grassland. The grassland in turn provides fodder for animal husbandry and create an additional stream of income for local herdsmen. Therefore, the Qinghai strategy sets an example for the joint development of green electricity and ecological restoration. The total solar PV capacity we will install is 14 GW, which will generate 12.4 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. This will offset the entirety of Scope 2 emissions.


除了使用绿电,我们在循环经济还做了大量的投入。通过循环经济和效能的提升,每年可以减少用电4.13亿度,减少天然气用量1,450万立方米。具体的措施包括,工业硅生产过程当中的蒸汽余热发电,工业硅余热蒸汽再利用,以及多晶硅多余的氧气再利用。在硅片环节, Pcw水热循环再利用,主要是用于园区的生活生产的供暖,减少里面的消耗。在组件制造环节,我们践行热回收和包装再利用,力求在每一个环节减少碳排放。


In addition to using green electricity, we also take great stock by investing in the circular economy and energy efficiency measures. Through these measures, we can reduce the electricity consumption by 413 GWh per year, and the natural gas consumption by 14.5 million cubic meters per year. Specific measures include steam recovery, oxygen recovery and heat recovery during the polysilicon production stage; PCW waste heat for residential warming and heat re-use for module manufacturing during the wafter production stage; and packaging recycling during the module production stage. 


青海戰略不只是一個低碳的戰略,也是一個重要的經濟和社會戰略。青海是全國最落後的一個省份。天合通過充分的挖掘它的綠電資源,爲當地帶去500多億的這個投資,相當于整個青海GDP的15%左右。我們還創造了18個億每年的稅收,以及1萬個就業崗位。同時我們也帶動了與我們産業鏈相配套的一些其他企業的發展。


The Qinghai strategy is important not only for its carbon reduction credential, but also for its great economic and social value. Qinghai is one of the least developed provinces in China. By tapping its renewable energy resources, Trinasolar has brought more than 50 billion yuan of investment to Qinghai, equivalent to about 15% of its GDP. It will also generate 1.8 billion yuan in tax revenue per year and create more than 10,000 jobs. Meanwhile, our presence will attract investments from other enterprises to complement our supply chain.


實際上,青海戰略創造了一個新的經濟模式。通過利用西部的清潔能源資源,可以吸引更多的高耗能綠色耗能的企業去投資,從而帶動當地的經濟發展。經濟發展又促進了當地光伏發電的就地消納,減少了長距離的外送。通過大面積的光伏電站的建設,又對生態環境的修産生了積極的影響。這真正做到了經濟、環境、社會三者之間的完美適配。


In fact, the Qinghai strategy has created a new model of economic development. The abundance of low-carbon electricity in the west will attract new investments from energy intensive industries, boosting the development of local economy. The economic development will in turn enable the integration of solar power and reduce the need for long-distance transmission. The development of solar power will further create a positive impact on the ecological environment. This really achieves a desirable harmony between economy, environment and society.


我們可以看到,通過我們的青海戰略的實施,天合的上遊供應鏈能夠徹底的實現我們的全面的零碳化。到2035年,將減少二氧化碳排放達到1.08億噸。相比于在內地建廠,碳排放將降低96%,實現二氧化碳範圍二排放100%的消除。每年還將産生78億度多余的綠電,供供應周邊的社區和生産用電。


Through the implementation of the Qinghai strategy, we are able to achieve deep decarbonation in Trinasolar’s upstream supply chain. By 2035, carbon emissions will be reduced by 108 million tons. This is equivalent to 96% less carbon emission than if the investment were to occur in Eastern China. Scope 2 emissions will be 100% eliminated. We are also able to produce 7.8TWh surplus green electricity, which will be used to supply the surrounding communities and industries.


非常榮幸有機會和大家分享我們天合的青海低碳戰略。我覺得青海戰略具備非常強的實踐性可複制性。可以預見,像青海的這種模式,不光是在中國,在中東,在北非、在蒙古,都是一種可以推廣借鑒的、新的工業能源和社會共同發展的産業模式和社會模式。青海戰略必將給我們中國西部開放注入真正的活力,也將推動我們青海環境修複,使得環境建設的取得更大的成績。非常再次非常感謝大家的聆聽,也非常真誠的歡迎我們的來賓能夠到我們青海去參觀學習指導。謝謝大家。


Ladies and gentlemen, it is a great honor to share with you Trinasolar’s strategy in supply chain decarbonation. In my opinion, our Qinghai strategy is replicable and can be upscaled to other places with similar conditions, such as the Middle East, North Africa and Mongolia, for the joint development of renewable energy and economy and for ecological protection. The Qinghai Strategy will certainly inject vitality into western China, and will contribute to its ecological restoration. Thank you very much again for listening to my speech.
